| Brief
The Connecticut clothing brand has a unique concept of being "1 of 1 and not one of them." The idea behind the brand is to offer fashion enthusiasts the opportunity to wear clothing that is different from what is commonly available. The brand is dedicated to setting the tone in fashion and bringing the best designs to the market. The brand's commitment to being unique is reflected in their clothing designs and the materials they use. They prioritize quality and pay close attention to detail to ensure their customers get the best products. The Connecticut clothing brand also prides itself on being adaptable and sustainable. They strive to reduce waste and use produce clothing that can be interchangable through all kinds of style changes. The brand has gained popularity in Connecticut and beyond, with fashion lovers embracing their unique style. They have set themselves apart in the fashion industry by offering clothing that is not only fashionable but also sustainable and ethical.
| Entry Problems
1. While being " 1 of 1 and not one of them was their main seller. The brand started off creating designs and products not only inspired by other brands, but full on copying other brands and just adding their name instead.
2. The Brand had no identity. There was nothing separating them from what the other urban Connecticut clothing brands were doing. They essentially were not 1 of 1, they were 1 of none.
3. Logo was representative of the original name idea, " The 1 Way ". After careful confrontation with the owner we were able to agree that " 1 of 1" was the better option.

| Research
So this is the first Designer Clothing Brand we've ever done work for... we didn't really know what to deliver or what to expect out of the initial onboarding meeting with 1 of 1. We just knew, this brand needed to look a specific way, talk a specific way, and interact with its audience a specific way.
So we asked the owners the following:

What do you want people to feel when they look at your brand?

Who do you want to appeal to?

What do you want to be remembered by?

What's the story you want to communicate?

What are your core values?

What's your design style?
We didn't get answers to all of those questions, but the ones we did get back, allowed us to deliver nothing but GREATNESS when we came back to 1 of 1.
| Our Deliverables
Deliverables for this partnership, were a bit out of order at first. There was a lot of back and forth of what could fit into the mold that was being created, along with budget difficulties. But after a couple lengthy meetings with the 1 of 1 team. We were able to finalize it.
The Deliverables were as followed:

| STARTING WITH LOGOS
Finding a logo for a Designer Fashion Brand that also needed to be educated on what makes something Designer was a tad difficult. There needed to be elements of sustainability, elements of appeal, and be recognizable in all settings.
Below are the 4 Iterations of the Logo we went through:

The 1 of 1 Team were actually the ones to come up with the slogan, we agreed with it so much that we figured it belonged almost in every design that was presented to the team. " One of One, Not One of Them", truly a representation of the core value to be original, and desire to put their own spins on designs.
1 of 1 has a couple secondary branding keys. " Legendary Figures is one of them. This is to recognize the legendary figures in history who lived their legacies being 1 of 1.
Lastly, The Language still stays true to their urban roots, to where it's more of a casual tone instead of formal. While the main colors are pretty similar to ours with, Black ( 1f1f1f ) | Red ( FE3033 ) | and White ( FFFFF )

Ah, the final deliverable. We have designed 3 official collections for the 1 of 1 team. "1 of 1 Not one of Them" Hoodie Collection, " 1 of 1 Certified Supporter" Track Suits, and the " 1 of 1 Quotes" Track Suits Collection. These are the early stage of a ready-to-wear phase for 1 of 1. We hope to start designing more diverse clothing pieces for 1 of 1 in the future, but for now, we invite you to take a look at the designs we've made up until now!
